Should I be scared of Subaru head gaskets?
No — just informed. The well-known head gasket issues mostly affect older engine generations, and a seep is not the same as a failure. We inspect, show you what we see, and tell you honestly whether it needs work now, monitoring, or nothing.
My Subaru's CVT shudders. Is it done for?
Often it's the fluid, not the transmission. CVTs are sensitive to fluid condition, and a proper service resolves a lot of shudder complaints. We diagnose first so you're not quoted a transmission when you needed a fluid change.
