Honda & Acura · Rexburg, Idaho

Honda & Acura repair by the book — and by the miles.

Civics, Accords, CR-Vs, Pilots, and their Acura cousins are built to go forever — if the fluids and intervals are respected. We service them the way Honda intended, and fix them straight when something gives.

Our take

Hondas are particular about their fluids — we are too.

Honda engineered its transmissions, power steering, and coolant around specific fluid formulations, and using the wrong ones is one of the quickest ways to shorten a Honda's life. We use fluids that meet Honda's spec, period.

The other Honda habit worth respecting is the timing service: some engines run belts that need replacement on schedule, others run chains — and knowing which one your model has matters. We'll tell you what your engine needs and when.

Anything beyond maintenance starts with a $150 tested diagnosis, a full inspection, and a plain-language call before we turn a wrench.

FAQ

Honda & Acura questions, answered straight.

Can an independent shop work on my vehicle without voiding the factory warranty?

Yes. Federal law (the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act) protects your right to have maintenance and repairs done at any qualified shop. Keep your service records — we document everything — and your factory warranty stays intact.

My CVT shudders or hesitates. Is it failing?

Not necessarily. On many Hondas a shudder is the fluid asking to be serviced, not the transmission dying. We test and inspect first — a fluid service is a fraction of the cost of assuming the worst.

When does my timing belt need to be replaced?

Depends on the engine — many Honda V6s call for a timing belt service around the 100,000-mile mark, while most four-cylinders run chains that don't need scheduled replacement. Tell us your model and year and we'll give you the straight answer.

Do you service Acuras too?

Yes — Acura is Honda underneath, with the same fluid and interval habits. MDX, RDX, TLX, and the rest get the same by-the-book treatment.
