AC & heating · Rexburg, Idaho

AC blowing warm? We find why — not just refill it.

A recharge without finding the leak is a countdown to warm air again. We diagnose the actual problem — leak, compressor, controls, or blower — and quote the fix before work starts.

Both extremes

East Idaho needs cold air in July and real heat in January.

Refrigerant doesn't get “used up.” If your AC faded over a season or two, it leaked out somewhere — a seal, a line, a condenser hit by road debris. Recharging without fixing the leak just rents you cold air for a few months.

AC systems fail in more ways than leaks: compressors and clutches wear out, blend doors stick, blower motors quit, and control circuits act up. That's why we diagnose first and quote the actual fix instead of guessing at the most expensive part.

We handle the heating side too — weak heat, no heat, and blowers that only work on some speeds. In an East Idaho January, a working heater and defroster is a safety item, not a comfort item.

FAQ

AC & heater questions, answered straight.

Can't you just recharge it?

We can — but if the refrigerant leaked out once, it'll leak out again. Finding and fixing the leak first is what makes the cold air stay. We'll show you what we find and let you decide.

How much does AC repair cost?

It ranges widely because causes range widely: a leaking o-ring is a small job, a failed compressor is a bigger one. That's exactly why we diagnose first ($150, inspection included) and give you a firm quote before any repair.

My heater barely works. Is that an AC thing too?

Same climate system, and yes, we fix it. Weak heat can be a low coolant level, a plugged heater core, a stuck blend door, or a blower problem — and low coolant can also mean a cooling system leak worth catching early.

Why is my AC noisy when it kicks on?

A click, rattle, or squeal when the compressor engages often points to the compressor clutch or a belt under strain. It's worth diagnosing before it becomes a no-cold-air-at-all problem.
