Is my engine worth fixing?
That's the right question, and we'll answer it honestly. We weigh the repair cost against the vehicle's condition and value, and tell you what we'd do if it were ours — even when that means recommending against the repair.
What's that ticking noise?
Could be minor — low oil, a noisy lifter — or the start of something serious. Engine noises are hard to judge by ear alone from the driver's seat, and easy to judge with the right testing. Worth diagnosing before it gets louder.
Is a small oil leak urgent?
Depends where it's coming from and how fast. A weeping valve cover gasket can wait for a scheduled visit; a leak near the crank seals or dripping onto hot exhaust shouldn't. We'll tell you which kind you have — and what's urgent versus what can wait.
